Our dedicated team of story analysts, development executives, and producer liaisons meticulously identifies and secures promising literary properties, with a core mission of adapting three select books into compelling screenplays each year. We champion a collaborative, author-respectful process, working closely with screenwriters to distill the essence of each novel—its narrative heart, complex characters, and thematic depth—into a dynamic visual blueprint. From initial option to polished final draft, our department expertly navigates the journey of adaptation, ensuring each project retains the source material's integrity while fully embracing the unique power and language of cinema, readying each story for its next life in production.

In 2025, legendary producer Chris Haneley (Muse Productions: Spring Breakers, Buffalo 66, Spun) and Writer Will De Los Santos (Spun) joined the ThumpTV team to produce Mama Black Widow (Iceberg Slim), The Woods (Manuel Almanza), The Badlanders, Love in Vane, Boy in Blue and Cezanne, I Am. Each of these works exists in literary form and was advanced for the screen.
